El Salvador is the the smallest country on the continental US and is possitioned on the Pacific side of Central America. With an area of 21,044.8 km2, it is so small that it only takes up about .26% of the US which is about the the size of Massachusetts. This country's geography is characterized by many volcanoes creating varying altitudes as well as over 300 rivers. And in addition to the giant mass of water of the pacific ocean along the coastline, there are a few large lakes within El Salvador, the largest being the Embalse Cerron Grande which is 135 km2.

  1. It's nice to know that your country can fit into Canada so many times. El Salvador is so tiny and cute. It's weird to think that there could be vast differences between to countries on earth.
